My most commonly used tools for debugging websites

Here are a web tools that i must have in my web dev toolbox.Not only that it will help in developing your website the side effect is, you’ll learn a lot much faster in the process.

Firebug for Firefox

I love firebug. Enough said.Get this plugin for mozilla firefox and have a fantastic time exploring it.Here are the features:

• Enabling and disabling CSS properties of a website is way cool.
• Box model shading in real time is really helpful.
• I’m not a big fan of javascript.But if you have to use it, firebug is a useful tool to have in your pocket!

Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar

Click on the link above to download ie dev toolbar. It’s a little bit difficult to find the first time you install it.

The symbol is a blue arrow on the internet explorer toolbar.If you can’t find it, right click to customize the toolbar and add the ie dev toolbar icon.Then click the icon for it to appear at the bottom of the page.

These tools are great too if you’re doing sharepoint branding.Hope this helps!
